We recognize that we are not the only ones celebrating Earth Day on April 20, and we're happy to share the other events that are occurring, especially since they may be closer to you than ours. We don't consider them competition, we consider them partners. To deal with the climate crisis, we need everyone participating to make a difference, and the more places we get the word out, have the hard conversations, and motivate people to action, the better! Here are some other activities we know about in April:

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Avon Garden Club Eco-Garden Tour throughout the city (including the Town Green)
2-5 p.m. - Experts will speak on topics including home energy efficiency, using native plants, green landscaping, pedestrian and bicycle transportation options and more. Enjoy local organization, green vendors and children’s activities at the Town Green
5-8 p.m.: Earth Day Concert featuring the Packway Handle Band and opener Blue Gravy along with food and beverage vendors
